Every time I have gone on an extravagant vacation, I run into my airbnb, throw all my suitcases into the rooms and rest my feet on the closest couch I can find and I instantly think about what my family and I will explore and experience during our stay. I always thought wouldn’t it be nice to just have an overall “Must have” list just fall down right into my lap?! What are fun things to do in Anna Maria Island? 1. Fun Things To Do With Kids On Anna Maria

A Family Photoshoot

This is number 1 on my list because I myself am a family photographer. When I think of vacationing with my own family I would want for myself a little piece of our trip documented. This is a fun way to visit a new beach you possibly haven’t seen and capture your love under the sunset chasing the light, toes in the sand, dancing amongst the shore and to overall just let loose! 2. Fun Things To Do With Kids On Anna Maria

Rent Bikes To Explore Anna Maria Island

Depending on how little your kiddos are this is great option for family time with no distractions! You can ride from Bradenton to Anna Maria Island and pass by so many restaurants and shops! It’s a good time. Be sure to take a trip to Bean Point if you want to truly be blown away by the best beach on Anna Maria.

Who Says No To Ice Cream?

This is kind of a no brainer…right? Stop by Small Town Creamery during your visit and I promise you (and especially the kiddos) will not be disappointed. My kids LOVE the Cookie Monster flavor! This is definitely a top fun family kid friendly thing to do together!

4. Fun Things To Do With Kids On Anna Maria

Visit Bean Point

Bean Point is a private island (however you can find parking on the sides of the roads, just be mindful and read the signs) This beach is different than Holmes beach or any other location on AMI. It welcomes you with the whitest sand, sparkling blue water, less crowded area and miles of beach. Why is it different than other beaches? I’d say take my word for it and check it out yourself. It is my favorite beach I have been to since I moved here in 2020. Bean Point Information

Lastly.. Visit the AMI Pier!

Now.. If you are looking for AMAZING FOOD, A place to teach your kiddos to fish, and a contagious atmosphere please put this on your must have list while vacationing here! parking can be found along South Bay Boulevard and it is free of cost.
