Hey! I am Cassie. I am so happy you’re here and diving into photography! I created Lightroom Beach Presets for not only myself , but for others who are surrounded by beautiful beaches. If you are looking for a preset that not only brings in depth and contrast but a richness as well you’ve come to the right spot. When I first started photography in September of 2020 I was so determined to become a professional photographer. I didn’t want this to be a hobby.. I knew I wanted to create art in a way that would resonate with everyone who looked at my work. I wanted people to FEEL something when they saw what I had to offer. I made these beach presets for Lightroom back when I lived in Florida. I have since moved back to New England, however I have found that my beach presets still work for other locations!
Below I have showcased some of my work back in Florida with my beach presets. Keep in mind that a lot of these images were not just a one click with the preset. I mainly will tweak the exposure, warmth, shadows and do some minor brush work as well. My beach presets in Lightroom also come with my custom made brush set! Scroll down to look at what each of my presets have done to these images.
I shoot most of my work in Kelvin with the temp typically around 7500. My ISO at the beach typically is at 100 at the start of the session UNLESS there are storm clouds and overcast. My ISO will change depending on the lighting on the beach that specific night. My Aperture is typically always around 2.0-2.2. My shutter speed is always changing! From the raw file I will adjust temp and exposure if I need to. I always use my sky brush and my sharpen details brush. I will use my clothes brush on certain clothing in the image . To get the skin smooth I do use my skin smoothing brush and adjust the amount as needed. From here I bring into Photoshop for a final pop and use portraiture for further skin smoothing.
